Today’s Reading: Exodus 23–25
Big Picture
Exodus 23–25 shifts the focus from movement to presence.
At Sinai, God confirms His covenant with Israel. Moses enters the cloud—not to escape the people, but to receive what will shape life among them. What follows are detailed instructions for the tabernacle, the place where God’s presence will dwell.
These chapters can feel technical, but their message is deeply relational. God does not rescue His people and then remain distant. He chooses to dwell among them. The care given to design, space, and order reflects God’s desire to be near—not chaotic or unreachable, but intentional and present.
Grace does not stop at deliverance or instruction. It moves toward nearness.
The ManlyTraining Lens
Grace invites us to live with awareness of God’s presence.
Many people equate faith with activity—doing more, striving harder, moving faster. Scripture reminds us that formation also requires attention and reverence. God establishes rhythms, spaces, and order so His people can live with Him at the center.
Strong lives are not built on constant motion alone. They are built by making room for God’s presence in daily life—work, rest, family, and responsibility.
Grace teaches us that God does not merely guide from a distance. He dwells with those He calls.
Reflection Question
Where might God be inviting you to slow down and make room for His presence in your everyday life?
Final Thought
No matter your age or season of life, this truth remains: God chooses to dwell with His people. Grace invites us not just to follow God, but to live with Him at the center.
