Today’s Reading: Genesis 7–9
Big Picture
The flood account is not only about judgment—it is about preservation.
God does not erase humanity; He saves a remnant. Noah’s obedience becomes the means through which life continues. God remembers Noah, not because Noah was perfect, but because he was faithful.
After the flood, God establishes a covenant. Judgment is followed by promise. Destruction is not God’s final word—restoration is.
The ManlyTraining Lens
Faithfulness often looks boring before it looks heroic.
Noah obeyed long before the rain came. Obedience is usually proven in quiet preparation, not dramatic moments.
God preserves what aligns with His purposes. When we walk faithfully—especially when no one is watching—we become anchors for others.
Reflection Question
Where might God be calling you to stay faithful even when results are not immediate?
Closing Prayer
Lord, help me walk faithfully today, trusting that You are at work beyond what I can see. Amen.
Final Thought
In every generation, God honors steady faithfulness. When you obey Him, you may be protecting more than just yourself.
