A Year in the Word

A Year in the Word

On January 1st, 2026, we begin something simple—and serious.

Together with our church community, we are committing to The Year of the Bible: reading the entire Bible, from beginning to end, one day at a time.

At ManlyTraining, we will be walking this path daily with you.

Not with heavy commentary.

Not with complicated theology.

But with short, steady reflections designed to help you understand the moment you’re reading, recognize what matters, and live it out faithfully.

Why We’re Doing This

Most people know parts of the Bible. Fewer know the whole story.

When Scripture is read in pieces, it’s easy to misunderstand God’s character, His purposes, and our role in His story. But when we read the Bible consistently, something changes. We stop reacting emotionally and start thinking biblically. We gain clarity, patience, and direction.

This year is about formation, not information.

What to Expect from ManlyTraining

Each day, you’ll find a short companion article that:

1. Anchors you in the big picture of the day’s reading

2. Draws out a clear life application

3. Encourages responsibility, faithfulness, and obedience

4. Ends with a reminder that God’s Word applies no matter your age or season of life

These articles are written to be read:

Early in the morning – On a break at work or school – With your spouse – Around the table with your family – Or quietly on your own.

Strong enough to challenge.

Clear enough to understand.

Steady enough to return to every day.

This Is for the Whole Household

Whether you are:

Leading a family – Learning how to lead yourself – Rebuilding after a hard season – Or just starting to take Scripture seriously.

God’s Word meets you where you are.

The discipline of daily reading does not require perfection—only faithfulness.

Our Commitment This Year

At ManlyTraining, we are committing to:

Walk through the entire Bible day by day – Publish a daily companion article all year – Keep Scripture central and application practical – Remain grounded, steady, and honest.

This is not about hype.

It’s about showing up.

Starting January 1st, 2026

The morning of January 1st, 2026 we begin with Genesis 1–3.

Creation. Order. Responsibility. Choice.

The foundation of everything that follows.

Wherever you are in life, you are invited to walk with us through the Word—one day at a time.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105
